Katherine and James | Plimoth Plantation

Katherine and James wanted their first look to take place in her parents’ home, a lovely and meaningful gesture. Separated by a funky screen, they read notes they wrote to each other before the big reveal. She and her dad practiced some dance moves and then we went to Plimoth Plantation’s Peabody Pavilion for the ceremony. There were a lot of tears throughout, and especially afterwards when Katherine’s grandmother sang a lovely rendition of “Always,” an Irving Berlin song he wrote to his wife for their wedding in 1926. The guests really brought it during dancing, and towards the end of the night Katherine belted out Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'”!
